'SNL' Alum Says Writers Were Pressured In 2015 To Make Donald Trump 'Likable' | HuffPost

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/...

President Donald Trump doesn’t get much love from “Saturday Night Live” these days (and he, in turn, absolutely hates it).

But things were different as recently as 2015, according to “SNL” alum Taran Killam, who left the show the following year.

In fact, Killam claimed this week on Matt Gourley’s “I Was There Too” podcast that at one point, “SNL” creator Lorne Michaels ordered writers not to vilify Trump, who was then a presidential candidate. Michaels, Killam claimed, told the show’s writers to make Trump appear “likable.”

Yet the Dems loved him until he announced his run for President.

They loved him when he was getting awards off the black community and not opposing same sex marriage, unlike Hillary and Obama.

@MarkRowley In 2008, both Hillary, and Obama were opposing same sex marriage. That's only ten years ago. Was everyone born yesterday? Have they lost their memories?

@bondojoe They must have lost their memories along with their sanity.
